Learning the technique
You receive your personal Bija (seed) mantra and learn how to use it. By the end of this first session, you will have experienced your first Vedic Meditation.
The Mechanics of Vedic Meditation
We cover the practicalities of your practice: where you can practise, when you should practise, what correct meditation looks and feels like, and what to expect as the practice develops.
Understanding Stress
A deep dive into how stress affects the body and the mind, and how Vedic Meditation removes the effects of stress by altering the body's chemistry. This session gives your practice a solid scientific foundation.
The Long Game
We cover what happens over months and years of practice, how to keep the technique fresh, and how to get the most from it long-term. This session sets you up for a lifetime of practice, not just a good few weeks.

Why this course works when others haven't
The most common reason people struggle with meditation is that the technique they're using requires effort: focus, concentration, control of the mind. For most people, sustained effort loses out to a busy mind eventually.
Vedic Meditation uses a Bija (seed) mantra, a specific type of sound that allows the mind to settle naturally, without control or effort. Thoughts come and go. That's fine. The technique doesn't require you to stop thinking. It simply works, whether your session feels busy or quiet.

The sliding scale is self-assessed and based on an honesty system. You do not need to prove your income or concession status. There is no means testing and no awkward conversations.
Private courses are available for individuals or couples who prefer to learn one-on-one, in their own time and location.
